Julien Chorier (30) of France wins Hardrock 100 Mile Endurance Run 2011 in Colorado. His time was 25 hours and 17 minutes. Finishers are required to kiss the rock at the finish.
With 10,360 meters of climb at an average elevation of over 3,400 meters, it really is one of the hardest trail running courses in the world. It's a small race though: only 140 competitors are accepted.
Here's iRunFar's pre-race interview with Julien, who won Ultra-Technitrail de Tiranges (80 km) in May.
