The first weekend of March, the French ultratrail runner Sebastien Chaigneau won this 123 km and 5500 D+/- race on the island of Gran Canaria, Spain, setting the new record time of 12:54:19.
In the female category, the Brazilian Fernanda Maciel won in 15:02.
