To the delight of all Stupidheads out there, Coach Ken of Running Stupid finished Headlands 100. After failing to finish in two previous years, CK wasn't going to let anything stand between him and the 33-hour cutoff - not even the wasp that swam in his coke and stung him in the throat when he drank it. By the way, Coach Ken has had tons of success lately: first he helped crew Ellie Greenwood into Western States 100 victory, and now he has been selected for the HURT 100 in January 2012. All Day!
